3 Ingredient Pancakes

I used to make 3 ingredient pancakes with egg, banana and cinnamon, so I really wanted to find a way to make simple, quick pancakes without egg. These are super simple and essentially the ingredients to porridge, disguised as an indulgent pancake.  


  • 200g of oats

  • 1 banana

  • 200ml plant milk

Optional Toppings:

  • Berries (I microwave a handful of frozen berries)

  • Agave syrup (a vegan alternative to honey)

  • Chia seeds (high in omega 3)

  • Cinnamon


  1. Blend the oats until you get a fine flour.

  2. Add the banana and milk, blend until you get a thick batter.

  3. On a medium heat with a small amount of oil, pour the batter out into small circles. Fry one at a time unless you have quite a large pan.

  4. Fry on one side for 3-4 minutes before flipping. They will go quite dark due to the browning of the sugar in the banana, but don't worry they won't taste burnt.

  5. Serve with toppings of your choice.
